PCA Aerostructures

Machining

PCA Aerostructures Company is a global manufacturer of precision-machined aerostructure components and specializes in machining large-monolithic parts.

Multi-axis and High-speed Machining

Integrated aerostructure machining and manufacturing is what PCA does. The machining department is setup to machine large extrusions, forgings, or castings out of materials such as; aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, and Inconel.

PCA Aerostructures maintains a combination of multi-axis, high-speed vertical and horizontal CNC machine centers with three, four, and five axis single and multi-spindle configurations. PCA Aerostructures machinists and engineers stay on the cutting edge by working with the industries leading equipment suppliers like Cincinnati, SNK, OKK, Mori Seki, Okuma, Nigata, Makino, Haas, and Fadal.

The company’s vertical-spindle gantry machine cells can produce the largest and longest structural aircraft components. These multi-axis multi-spindle gantry machines are some of the largest in the industry and have three or four spindles and a work envelope for up to 900” of x-axis, and 144” of y-axis travel.
