PCA Aerostructures Company manufactures some of the largest and most complex contoured aerostructure components. By providing programming, stretch forming, machining, finishing, and assembly solutions, PCA Aerostructures is strategically situated to serve the commercial and military aerospace industries.
Integrated Program Administration
The program administration department manages all programs at PCA Aerostructures. This department utilizes Lean/Six Sigma methodologies to review and manage contractual requirements related to materials supplies, scheduling, quality, and customer satisfaction.
The engineering team provides necessary support throughout the entire project startup phase and beyond. Continuous process improvements, process refinement, and cost reductions are measured throughout the manufacturing, kitting and assembly process.
Continuous Improvement
Lean manufacturing principles are applied to all PCA Aerostructures manufacturing processes to insure effective operations. To benefit our employees, shareholders, partners and customers, the company focuses on customer service and consistently utilizes Lean/Six Sigma and value stream mapping principals to improve engineering, manufacturing, quality, and process flow.
PCA Aerostructures Quality Requirements Manual and Standard Operating Procedures define our Quality Program, are approved by our customers and partners, and are regularly audited by Defense Contract Management. PCA Aerostructures currently holds ISO 9001:2008 and AS9100B quality certifications. Our sub-contractors are surveyed and audited to verify they comply with minimum quality program requirements and that the necessary processes and controls are in place to effectively support each program.
